EUTOPIA-SIF Final Event Registration

After 6 years, 4 cohorts and 78 fellows the EUTOPIA-SIF MSCA Postdoctoral COFUND is drawing to a close in November 2026. To celebrate, acknowledge and disseminate their achievements and research, on Thursday September 10^th we are organising a virtual and cross-campus EUTOPIA SIF Closing event:

You are warmly invited to keep your diaries free for 2 sessions: a plenary session from 11.00-12.00 CET and parallel thematic sessions from 14.00-15.30 CET in the afternoon.

The 5 concurrent sessions will focus on each of the EUTOPIA SIF research areas. The sessions will be organised by each of the 5 EUTOPIA-SIF Universities with a fellow in the 4^th Cohort:

  • Data & Intelligence; (UW)
  • Health; (UL)
  • Sustainability; (UPF)
  • Welfare & Inclusion; (CY)

We invite the fellows, but also the supervisors and other experts in the field to present your cutting edge findings and participate in a panel discussion, disseminating your findings, methodologies and other research outputs. We will invite the broad EUTOPIA community, focussing on PhD candidates, postdocs and researchers in relevant EUTOPIA Connected Communities, Co-Tutelle Supervisors and MSCA projects. We also invite you to share the invitation with your own professional networks.

The plenary session in the morning will focus on another element of the EUTOPIA-SIF COFUND: research careers. Moderated by a EUTOPIA YLA alumni and VUB Post-doc career counsellor this session will reflect back upon and look ahead to the fellows’ research careers, in all settings (within and outside of academia).
